an oasis in the desert
We've been owned by and loved by Goldens since I brought my first one home in 1985. Lacey didn't work out as a show or breeding dog but she certainly started me in the right direction. Here at Craiglen we breed only very occasionally when we desire something to keep to continue our bloodlines. We breed for temperament first and foremost. After that comes soundness and type. All breeding stock is screened for hip and elbow dysplasia, hereditary eye problems (annually) and hereditary heart problems (SAS). While we breed primarily for competition in conformation we like to think that a Craiglen golden can do it all from beloved pet, competitive obedience or agility dog, or a hunting companion. Browse though our site and feel free to contact us if you would like to know about this wonderful breed.
